Benefits
Named after the Marvel superhero the Hulk, Bruce Banner is one of the most potent flowers on the Thai cannabis market. A sativa-dominant hybrid, its average THC concentration varies from an astonishing 24% to 31%.
Its genetics are a mix of the iconic OG Kush indica and Strawberry Diesel sativa hybrid, from which it also takes its strong diesel scent with sweet, fruity undertones. The bud is well-known for its euphoric, energising effects and ability to reduce chronic pain.
Onset
Bruce Banner lives up to its reputation of being among the strongest weed strains on the planet. It hits you like a punch from the Incredible Hulk himself, but instead of turning you into a green monster, it does quite the opposite. A few puffs are all that is needed to elevate your mood and renew your spirits with good vibes, joy, and creativity.
You may find yourself laughing and giggling for no reason, so a good comedy movie will certainly pair well with this flower. You can also expect a surge in motivation and mindfulness, making you clear-headed enough to finally finish that long-pending chore or plan out your future. Unlike other strains that can make you slow and lazy and put you in a couchlock, Bruce Banner makes you want to do something.
The cerebral head rush will hit hard and fast, but it soon fades into a nice, mellow high. It doesn’t stay in the head; it also provides a relaxing body high that can be useful in relieving pain.
Uses
Bruce Banner can help with easing fatigue, stress, and depression. It can provide relaxation to users who find themselves worried about the troubles of daily life. However, if you have never smoked BB before, you must take it in fairly small doses, as taking too much can lead to the opposite effect.
Medical marijuana users can also look at Bruce Banner for its pain-relieving properties – chronic pain, back pain, muscle spasms, or arthritis. It can also help improve your appetite, especially if you have lost it as a side effect of treatment for your medical conditions.
Side effects
Since Bruce Banner is an incredibly potent strain, it carries the well-known side effect of THC-induced paranoia and anxiety.
Other adverse effects include dry mouth, red/itchy eyes, and dizziness. People who are not used to smoking weed may also feel uncomfortable.
Owing to its high THC content, Bruce Banner is not a strain for beginners. You may want to check out Northern Lights or Charlotte’s Angel CBD instead if you are new to cannabis.
Taste & Smell
Bruce Banner boasts of a pungent diesel aroma mixed with fresh strawberries. The earthy, sweet scent fills the room when you open the container.
As for the taste, you may be pleasantly surprised. It has a fresh earthy flavour with notes of wild berries, making the smoking experience pleasant and sweet. Experienced tokers may also detect floral notes with hints of citrus.

Origins of Bruce Banner
The origins of Bruce Banner can be traced to Dark Horse Genetics, but Delta 9 Labs and a few other reputed breeders have done their part in making Bruce Banner an iconic flower. Irrespective of the source, its lineage comes from Strawberry Diesel and OG Kush.
It has three known varieties (phenotypes) – #1, #3, and #5 – all of which carry quite a THC kick. The strain also won first place in the “Most Potent Strain” Category at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2013.
Growing conditions
Bruce Banner is an easy hybrid to grow – both indoors and outdoors. It finishes flowering in 9-10 weeks. The yields are also exceptionally high – up to 600 grams per metre square when grown indoors and 1000 grams per plant outdoors.
The plant does not take up a lot of space inside, growing up to 1.5 metres tall. Patience and care will reward the growers with bountiful, trichomes-frosted buds featuring shades of green and magenta amidst dancing red hairs.
