The strain allegedly has its chemical scent to thank for the “chem” in its name, alongside the ability to make you “roll over like a dog”, standing for “dog”.
Growing conditions
Cultivating Chemdawg is quite tricky and, as such, recommended to the more experienced growers. The plant needs some maintenance: it will require trimming in the vegetative stage due to its tendency to grow tall (over 1.5m). It is most often grown indoors to prevent mould and mildew growth. Moreover, the flower has an intense odour that is easier to control in indoor settings, although it is highly recommended to use proper ventilation methods not to alarm your neighbours.
Those who decide to take on the challenge can expect great results with a very high yield. If grown successfully, between 700-825 grams per square metre indoors and up to 900 grams per outdoor plant can be obtained.
