Effects & Usage
Benefits
Gushers, an indica-dominant hybrid, is the glorious offspring of the legendary Gelato and Triangle Kush. With THC levels soaring up to 25%, it invites you to an extraordinary journey where peace of mind is the destination, and euphoric pleasure is the route. The sweet fruity punch is a cherry on top, delighting your palate with its smoothness.
Onset
Gushers has a rather gentle onset, taking a few minutes to unravel the action.
First, you will notice a tingle in the neck that makes it all the way down to your fingertips and toes, leaving you fully relaxed and lightweight. As your body succumbs to this tranquillity, your mind starts to bubble with effervescent euphoria, wrapping you in a warm, comforting blanket far away from all worldly trouble. It’s as if you are suddenly the master of a vibrant universe, eager to share your joy with those around you.
This high is not about productivity or energy – it is all about a deep sense of comfort and inner peace. Because of how happy you will be with simply existing in the present moment, you will not feel like exerting yourself much. However, Gushers pairs perfectly with low-key, laidback activities – like chilling on the couch with friends watching Netflix, reading, or watching the sunset at a beautiful beach.

Uses
With a combination of uplifting limonene and soothing linalool, Gushers lends a helping hand to those struggling with mental health problems. Anxiety, depression and stress, but even PTSD and OCD, may fade away into the background as the users find themselves relaxed and free of repetitive, negative thoughts.
By deeply relaxing the body, the strain may relieve muscle spasms and cramps. It is also packed with anti-inflammatory and analgesic potential, which can be beneficial to users dealing with arthritis, chronic pain or fibromyalgia.
Side effects
Expect the common side effects of cannabis consumption, namely dry eyes and mouth sensations. Other adverse reactions are not that common, but overconsumption can lead to dizziness and slight paranoia. If you are starting your journey with THC or have mental health conditions, err on the side of caution and stick to low doses.
Taste & Smell
One of the joys of Gushers lies in its delightful taste and aroma. On the first whiff, you will notice an inviting mix of sweet cookie notes and ripe tropical fruit, further enhanced by a hint of herbs and peppery spice courtesy of caryophyllene.
The subtle flavour of the strain is equally enchanting – coating your tongue with a taste of tropical candies and cookies. You may also notice the prevalent spicy, herbal undertone as you exhale.
The long olive green buds of Gushers are covered in a generous trichome coating, signifying the strain’s potency.
Fans of Gushers will also appreciate other candy-flavoured cultivars, like Runtz and Zkittlez.
Origins
Gushers is another fabulous creation of Cookies Fam Genetics, a famous Californian breeder. Crossing one of their most prestigious hybrids, Gelato, with Triangle Kush, they produced a strain that captivates its famed parents’ potency and blissful effects. Its name is a homage to a popular US candy, reflecting its sweet and fruit-forward profile.
Growing conditions
Gushers is a plant that can thrive equally well indoors and outdoors, as long as it’s provided warm conditions with plenty of light. It tends to grow short and bushy, making it susceptible to mould and pests. Gentle pruning techniques will help prevent infestations and maximise the harvest.
You will need a bit of patience, as the flowering time can take up to 11 weeks, with yields of around 400 grams per square metre indoors and up to 550 grams per plant outdoors.
