Uses
White Runtz is most popular with recreational marijuana users, but it can still provide some medical benefits. Due to the strong euphoric feelings it induces, it may assist people struggling with mood disorders, stress and tension. With a high content of the anti-inflammatory caryophyllene, it can also be utilised to treat minor aches, such as headaches and muscle spasms.
Side effects
Most users tolerate White Runtz well, and the most frequent side effects are limited to cottonmouth and dry eyes. Anxiety and paranoia are not common; however, they may occur due to the strain’s high THC levels, especially in users struggling with mental health conditions. Remember to practice responsible consumption, starting with a single puff.
Taste & Smell
If you are a fan of sweet, fruity cannabis, you are in for a treat. The journey on White Runtz begins with a creamy, fruity sweet scent with a dash of vanilla, bringing delicious ice creams to mind. Unlike the older sibling Runtz, this strain’s dominant terpene is limonene, resulting in an intense flavour of tropical fruits mixed in with earthy notes on the exhale and a hint of diesel. The smoke is smooth and creamy, making the experience genuinely indulgent. When it comes to its looks, White Runtz exhibits thick, large spade-shaped buds with a generous coating of glistening trichomes.
Origins
Born under the sunny Californian sky, White Runtz is a prominent creation of the Cookies family. The strain is another phenotype of Runtz and shares its lineage, originating from two marvellous strains: Gelato and Zkittlez. With similar properties yet a slightly different terpene profile, White Runtz is slowly catching up to its older sibling’s and legendary parents’ popularity.
Growing conditions
White Runtz seeds have not been released for sale, which makes it tricky to grow your own. The limited available cultivation guidelines suggest that the strain can grow both indoors and outdoors, but it prefers a cooler climate with low humidity due to its susceptibility to mould. It should also benefit from regular pruning to improve the airflow to the lower laying branches.
The plant will likely start flowering in about 8 to 9 weeks, delivering yields of around 400 to 450 grams per square meter indoors and about 500 grams per outdoor plant.
