Benefits

The Motorbreath strain, or Motorbreath #2 or Motorbreath 15, is an Indica-dominant flower (70% Indica / 30% sativa) praised for its heavy-handed potency and deeply relaxing effects. The estimated range of THC levels is around 20% to 28%, making it an Indica that is just as potent as it is relaxing.

It is named for its intense gassy flavour and aroma, offering a unique experience for OG enthusiasts. This award-winning strain is especially known for its potency, making it more suitable for experienced cannabis users.

Onset

Motorbreath’s high kicks in with an uplifting sense of euphoria that progresses to full-body relaxation. It’s known for its ability to ease into a numbing body high that may lead you into a sedative state.

While it has strong Indica genetics, don’t let its lack of Sativa traits fool you. While not as pronounced and intense as its Sativa counterparts, the euphoria and cerebral high are certainly noticeable enough.

The early effects can best be described as riding a motorbike on a road of your choice. Expect tingles all over your body, along with a bit of energy. The end destination is relaxation, but the path there will be fun. As such, Motorbreath can be taken during the day for a little kick to get through the duties.

Otherwise, this flower is best suited for early evenings when you want to watch a movie or dabble in your creative side before heading to bed.

Uses

Motorbreath is sought after for its therapeutic benefits, relieving chronic pain, insomnia, loss of appetite, and nausea. It’s also chosen by those looking to alleviate symptoms of depression due to its mood-lifting properties.

Side effects

This strain is potent, and caution is advised for novice users due to possible overwhelming effects, including anxiety and paranoia. Dry mouth and eyes are standard, as is dizziness in higher doses.

Taste & Smell

Skunky

Motorbreath has a pungent, diesel-like aroma with notes of chemical, earthy, and lemony tones. Its flavour profile is similar, characterised by a strong diesel taste accented with hints of citrus and earth upon exhale. Sour Diesel definitely comes to mind when you are in the vicinity of Motorbreath.

The buds are minty green with long, thin orange hairs and a coating of frosty amber trichomes, occasionally showing vibrant blues and stunning purples.

Indica

Origins

Created by Pisces Genetics, Motorbreath’s lineage is rooted in the Chemdog and San Fernando Valley OG Kush.

It has an interesting background, with Chemdog’s seeds originally found at a Grateful Dead concert. The person who found it – who went by the nickname Chemdawg – then planted it to give us this notorious strain. It was then used to produce other cultivars.

Growing conditions

Motorbreath can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors, with a flowering time of approximately 9.5 to 10 weeks. The strain has won awards for its quality and is available mostly in feminized seed form.

However, it is a THC-dominant variety that requires some experience to cultivate successfully.
