The divine union between the illustrious Purple Urkle and the mighty Big Bud gave rise to Granddaddy Purple.
Growing conditions
Overall, Granddaddy Purple is relatively easy to grow if you keep a few things in mind. Indoor cultivation is more optimal, as the strain is susceptible to air humidity levels, which must be consistently maintained at around 50%. You also might need to be patient with your plant, as it can take up to 11 weeks to flower.
Furthermore, it is a relatively low-maintenance plant. It tends to grow bushy and short, so it does not require much space. It is also quite resistant to pests and mildew. As a result, you can expect bountiful yields, with indoor harvests averaging around 500 grams per square meter and up to 550 grams per outdoor plant.
