Benefits

Like a refreshing dessert on a warm summer day, Biscotti Mintz is a treat for cannabis connoisseurs far and wide. This indica-dominant hybrid, created from the fusion of Biscotti and Kush Mintz, boasts a high THC content, ranging between 21-25%. As a result, it provides a potent yet balanced blend of mental stimulation and physical relaxation whilst tantalising your senses at the same time

Onset

Given its high THC levels, Biscotti Mintz packs a potent punch and should be cautiously approached. However, consumed responsibly, it will bring you on a blissful, happy ride where your mind and body find deep peace. Despite being heavily indica-dominant, this hybrid brings you the best of both worlds, balancing the cerebral and physical effects.

You will first notice a gentle stimulating current passing through your brain, improving your mood and fostering creativity and introspection. Soon after, you will feel peaceful relaxation spreading down your body, releasing all tension and stress.

While these effects are prominent, they are not overwhelming by any means and will not induce a couchlock. You will instead be able to continue your normal daily activities, enjoying the deep spiritual harmony and appreciation of the moment. This happy elixir will also be great to share at parties, making for deep, thought-provoking conversations.

You may also like Gelato and Bubble Gum strains if you enjoy Biscotti Mintz’s effects.

Uses

Although Biscotti Mintz was primarily developed with recreational users in mind, it can provide medical benefits similar to those seen in traditional strains. Thanks to its relaxing properties, the strain can significantly reduce the symptoms of stress, anxiety and mood disorders. Additionally, with the help of uplifting and energising limonene, it can successfully reduce depression symptoms.

Lastly, the high THC concentration and anti-inflammatory caryophyllene may contribute to pain perception reduction and pain relief, allowing those with debilitating aches to go on about their day.

Side effects

As with most cannabis strains, you can expect a cottonmouth and dry/itchy eyes when using Biscotti Mintz. It is also known to cause paranoid, anxious and dizzy sensations, mainly when consumed in higher doses. Remember that it is easy to overconsume this strain – simply because of its deliciousness. Ensure you stay mindful of your limits and start with low doses, gradually increasing the consumption if necessary.

Taste & Smell

Cookies

Indulging in Biscotti Mintz is a true delight for all your senses. A short glance at this beautiful flower will reveal a deep purple colour interlaced with hues of orange and green. The buds themselves are small, tightly packed together and especially heavy in resin – owing to the strain’s magnificent potency.

The taste and smell sensations are also nothing short of extraordinary. You will first spot the famous chocolate chip cookie and biscuit notes – inherited from Girl Scout Cookies, a cultivar found in the genetic lineage of both parent strains. These are complemented by robust and refreshing mint and spicy, citrusy Kush notes, making Biscotti Mintz feel like a connoisseur’s dessert.

Indica

Origins

Biscotti Mintz is a newcomer to the cannabis market, serving as a testament to the art of selective breeding. The Dutch geniuses at Barney’s Farm decided to combine two tasty, highly specialised hybrids – Biscotti and Kush Mints, with their origins in the famed Cookies and Kush families. This combination resulted in a fascinating mix that takes the definition of delicious cannabis to the next level.

Growing conditions

As the strain is still new, the information on growing it is also limited. However, early cultivation reports suggest that it should be an attainable task. Biscotti Mintz has a short flowering time of 8 to 9 weeks and displays resistance to common plant diseases. While it usually does not reach a metre’s height when grown indoors, when grown outdoors, it can shoot up as high as 2 metres. This is also reflected in the yields – around 600-650 grams per square metre indoors and a massive 1000-1500 grams per plant outside.
